You might have noticed I redesigned the rest of my site. I tried to bring everything together in one place with easy to use navigation. I hope everyone likes it. Feel free to send me your thoughts. The blog will get updated in the following week.

Thought I’d try a little macro photography. For this, I handheld my 50mm prime reversed in front of my 75-300 at 75mm. Used a little flash via PocketWizard from the left and bounce from the right. Since this was handheld, focusing was a bit of a problem. For my first try, it turned out rather well I think. No post-production at all. This image is straight out of the camera.

Also, this starts my attempt at a photo a day for 2008. I may not post all of them here, but they will get posted to this Flickr set.
